A Boy was born in Bethlehem,
Rejoice for that, Jerusalem!
Alleluia!

For low he lay within a stall,
Who rules for ever over all:
Alleluia!

Then praise the Word of God who came
To dwell within a human frame:
Alleluia!

And praised be God in three-fold might
And glory bright,
Eternal, good and infinite!
Alleluia!

  • Ganz toll - wunderbar!

  • Interesting to hear Britten's own choice of tempi.

  • One of my favorite composer and as well most lovely composition which I search for to buy some new adaptation and recording. This one I have not yet very nice to find here for listen and rejoin. I thank you.
