Yah i work for exxon mobile, and its safty first then work. Their insain about safty, cant step over fork lifts even once! or ur toast. gross if u ask me but thats how crazy they are about safty. one im at is in ontario.

Just salt water like the ocean, no hazard or radioactive. The label on the tank is faded and probably the tank was used for a different purpose prior to containing water.

it's produced oilfield brine water -- our produced oilfield brine has a high level of benzene, arsenic, and mercury. Additionally, XOM used hexavalent chromium as an anti corrosive for 60 years that they mixed in with the salt water. So..... this is XOM - they are slobs. I'm not anti oil and gas. That tank is from 1940. Was abandoned in 1988. Still here.

this is a "blow down". It has salt water and waste oil leaking out of it.
