I'de get another 5SFE, keep it original. The car has a nice body, way better than 7th gen. Definitely worth the rebuild.

That sucks man. My wife has the same motor in her camry and it has been a great motor for her besides some oil leaks. Hopefully it wont be to costly to fix. That should be a pretty easy motor to find at a salvage yard if you're comfortable doing that kind of work

Did you check the oil?
User car lots sometime neglect such things as topping off oil.

fuck....i'd be pissed...but never buy from small dealer. I live in chicago and those dealers are the scum of the earth. On the bright side u can get a faster engine for it.
