Police Brutality: Mounted Police Charge Student Protesters

A cavalry charge into peaceful protesters who were protesting against the governments three-fold increase in student fees. Attending the protest were teenage school children, concerned parents, college and university students, tutors, reporters and photographers. First they were corralled into Whitehall close to Parliament and held there for hours in the cold. Police refused to allow even children to leave. Then some senior uniformed thug ordered the mounted cops to charge the trapped crowd.

After the first of the student protests and how much damage was caused i am not surprised police attended these protests in force. Too many narrow minded people regarding these protests. If the students were so innocent why did they attack Prince Charles???? Half the people here don't know anything about politics so chould fuk off back to their parents basement.

The escalation of the violence in subsequent protests after the first protest, where a small number of anarchists did damage, was not only orchestrated by the police but the police were responsible for most of the violence. The vast majority of the students were peaceful, the vast majority of police were not. ALL the peaceful protesters were in Whitehall 'kettled' by the police, the people who attacked the royal car were a mile away. Now you f*** O**!

@TheDuckShoot the violence at Millbank was done by so called students not a small number of anarchists! Fact of the matter is no one minds people peacefully protesting but the line is drawn at violence and damage which my taxes have to pay for to repair or replace!! With this in mind how can you not expect the police to not have loads more officers on these protests after Millbank? And the stupid comment about the police orchestrating the damage I don't buy that at all!!
