Being a person formerly from that area I'll say this...when it comes to the judge, yes, he is lacking a good amount of common sense. As to this story, there is a lot more going on than what is shown in this video. One side of a story can not be the only one that's posted. Also, make sure that you include ALL information that has gone on. Lots of facts missing here.

This judge is a criminal - it's obvious to all that are unfortunate enough to be involved in New York family courts that its all about the money - the lawyers' money. Matrimonial law in an "industry", and family law has little to do with family who become trapped in the system. It is the most corrupt arena in our legal system.

I don't care what you all do in New York, but for Heaven's sake, do you need a piano to fall on your head to know that there is a seriously dysfunctional judicial process going on here?
