At no point did Jimmy express any kind of animosity towards Nucky about him introducing his mother to the Commodore, So your theory is bullshit, They wrote Jimmy poorly this season, because they had to kill him off. Manny was literally brought in for the trap at the end, THAT IS NOT GOOD WRITING. Go watch Breaking Bad, Homeland, Or Boss if you are forgetful of what good writing is.
