These lyrics were never "banned." They would not be used in a Hollywood film, of course, but they were recorded by Cole Porter and others.
Another line, heard on the Dorsey Brothers Decca recording;:

then I suppose
Anything Goes.
This referred to Eleanor Roosevelt's appearances on radio--sponsored by Simmons Mattresses.
It was not the only money-making enterprise Eleanor got into while First Lady.
