Maggie giving birth to her puppies on January 28th 2008. The pictures in this videography might be disturbing to some. The videography contains graphic but beautiful pictures of puppies being born.

Kathy chose wisely in naming Regel Keeshonds after researching many names she settled on Regel which means "Standard" in dutch.

Photography and photovideo by KA Oravis. Should you be interested in a high quality copy of this video please contact K.A. Oravis.

  • r these kind of dogs in england? especially.... I want a dog for christmas.

  • @Pokemonloversforever Yes these are Keeshond and are available in England. Keep in mind that these are not low maintenance dogs...lol...they will require lots of coat care because they have a double coat, they are a medium sized dogs and can be very stubborn so if you've not owned a dog before please read up on the breed. There are many wonderful breeders out there and rescue organizations as well for Keeshond. Good luck!

  • I'm extremely sad to say Maggie has since passed away but all her babies are doing beautifully. Tata, the first baby born in this photo compilation is a champion agility Kees and my special baby girl even though she's not mine.

  • Update on the puppies: I'm happy to say that two of the puppies (Chanel and Charlie) are both adopted and doing wonderfully well! The second puppy born (Tilly) is still with Kathy and is now going through her training to be shown. She's a sweet girl and is growing like a weed!

  • This is a lovely set of photos.I have only been at the birth of one litter from the sister of one of my girls....I was more anxious than at the birth of my own children!!Your Maggie looks just like my Kandy.I love keeshonds,I can only see me moving to klein or mittel spitz when I`m an old lady, the wolf grey variety of course!

  • Thank you so much, I adore Keesies myself, funny how you can't seem to have just one! I was very lucky to be at the birth of Maggie's puppies not only that Kathy (Regel Keeshond) allowed me to attend and photograph the event but that Maggie allowed me to be so close to her during the births. I've since become very close to Maggie, her ever growing puppies and all of Kathy's beautiful Kees.

  • Your Keeshound looks exactly like our's. Our Sofee is now 9 years old and we love her so very much. She is really the best dog. We would love to have another Keeshound one day. Thank you for posting these pictures!

  • That would have to have been one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in my life. Second only to the birth of my own children.

Thank you so much for sharing.

  • Thank you for charing this moment, it´s wonderful.
