And (sorry guys) I'm a Catholic who went to Our Lady's in Chesham Bois - although I did go to the Christian Youth Club there in my A-level years at Challoner's.
Peace and Good Will to all Cheshamites, current or ex.

I grew up in Chesham (Chism). Great vid cheers BUT.... the worst winter ever was in 1981. Very fffreezing, snowed forever and we skated on the pond in Chesham Park. And I got a go-kart for Christmas. And a pair of binoculars(?). Nice.

Fun fun - did you hear about the really huge snows in New York - like 12-13 feet of the stuff... people carving canyons through it just to get out (if they could get out!). Chezzam... wish I'd known... I'll have to berate fellow youtuber Chittycol and why he didn't correct my pronounciation!
Virgin snow? You bloody weirdo.

That's a proper phrase meaning 'snow which hasn't been trodden in'. Look it up!

Sorry for the terrible spelling and grammer on display in that last comment folks. The '5' should be 'I' and 'every' should be 'everything', the 'stop' should be 'stops'.

hah hah hah, what a great comment, thanks. 5 think we had about 6 inchs of snow in Chesham, but the schools all shut and the buses didn't run, etc. Every stop for snow in this part of the UK, a fact that annoiys a lot of people but one that I personally celebrate!
As for how to pronounce the name of the town, most people over 60 yrs old don't pronounce the second 'h' - something to do with the river Chess that runs through the town.
