Before my trip out of town I decided to mess about on a road closer to home. It's a short one but a sweet one. The only major drawback besides every corner being blind and the fact I've only been on this road (now) twice is all the gravel it had to offer. If it looks like I'm slowing down through a corner, you can bet gravel is the cause.

  • Hmmm... 40+? Be careful you nut job! I dont wanna hear an impound story on BCSB from you ;) Let's go riding sometime soon. My Strom won't be able to keep up but I can at least catch you riding away at warp three on camera :D

  • @davidhowellca I don't know what you're talking about David : ) We should definitely go on a ride sometime! Just stay away from all the gravel bits. I know how much you like those.

  • Nice road! Are you still shooting pix?

  • @britex3186 Haven't been lately but there's some races coming up.

  • @ToastToGo Yep. Plus these aren't the sweepers you're used to down there. You'll end up in the bush if you tried to rely on engine braking.

  • @Sk4zZi0uS It's a nice road but not well kept and too short.

  • From what I've watched looks like a damned nice road... Net keeps playing up so I can hardly get half way through before it starts to cut...

Reminds me of the ride into work... some beautiful roads around the hell hole...

May have to get some footage when I put the CB back on the road (On the CG again)

  • @Zavochkin I don't have a gear indicator either and I'm always trying to shift into 7th. Never works. At least there's a neutral light.

  • @Zavochkin Oh I gotchya. I didn't know engine braking put much wear on the clutch.

  • @ToastToGo That's me braking dude. These corners are sharper than the camera shows. Was in second and would rather wear out my pads than my clutch via engine braking.
