This is fluid dynamics, and there is always a drop k falls into the water or when it rains. One drop does not bind directly to the water surface because between the droplet and the surface is a thin layer of air. When air moves, the first portion of water is diluted with siuperficie, bouncing to a smaller portion of the energy and the air released from the previous one, until it finishes blend with any surface water
