As a kid, I loved Garfield, to the point where I'd say it was my favorite comic strip. But as an adult, while I still love the old Garfield show and specials, and even most of the strips before 2004, I've lost a lot of respect for Jim Davis, and not just because of the bland, forgettable live-action movies, but the crappy CGI show and direct to DVD movies. Even the strip is dull and boring now, but Jim doesn't seem to care, so long as he makes money off that cat.
