TC "Thinkertoys for Educators" - DAY 2

6-days training program ''Thinkertoys for Educators'' was designed for non-formal education facilitators and youth workers to provide them platform for learning to foster creativity of groups and individual learners. The participants of the course will explore various creative thinking techniques and strategies, creative problem solving tools, idea evaluation methods and creative writing exercises that can be used in non-formal education for numerous purposes: for idea generation, reflection, evaluation, for developing problem solving, critical thinking, teamwork, self-expression and communication skills, for giving a voice to the people belonging to the social risk groups. Program includes mix of simulations, group and individual exercises, intercultural learning activities, discussions, reflection and evaluation exercises and brief theoretic inputs about creative thinking, non-formal learning and links among creativity, innovations, cultural diversity and sustainable development. Goal of this training course is to foster innovative and creative approaches in non-formal education and youth work and to develop participants' competencies for life-long learning. Project will take place near the Baltic Sea in Latvia and gather 26 participants and experts from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo, Slovakia, Turkey and Portugal.
