Im going to be a reservist so i can do college and marines at the same time but when i graduate i know for a fact im switching to active duty. Does this take long to do. And whats the pros and cons of being a reservist

it all depends if your reserve unit will release you to active duty...check out my video, "Should you join active duty or reserves" for the pros and cons of both.

I wouldn't change my decision, but make no mistake, the Corps isn't for everyone.

OOH-RAH!!! Ain't nothin like them Marines (I'm a little biased because my husband is a Marine). Make sure you get mentor-ship and know EVERYTHING that is available to you and routes for promotion :)

so ill be leaving march 5th to san diego as an 1833 Amphibious Assault Vehicle Crewman, i was aware of this being specific job? or am i wrong. thanks!
