I am thinking about buying this laptop and I was wondering how good the speakers are? I don't listen to a alot of loud stuff but do like to pull up some videos on youtube and watch them. So are the speakers decent?

@dbllds the back light is a $40 option. My build was 1385 as it is, IF I decide to buy it. Anyone one know of other sources of extended warranty/ damage insurance? Dell's options for it can add nearly 30% to the total cost sometimes. That's nuts

is this easy to upgrade (the ram and the hard drive) ? and how is the battery life?

@ourbloodyrevolution Yes the RAM and HDD are easy to upgrade. You will be happy with this machine. I would recommend a SSD hard drive. This is a great investment for speed and reliability. I personally have one in my Precision M6300.

vostro 3750 shows backlit keyboard in the build stage. just ordered one and it show backlit keyboard on the build sheet specs.

@dbllds Maybe that is a new feature, from what I understand it was not an option, but as you know with technology, things change. I would appreciate if you would update us and the Youtube family if it does come with backlit keyboard. Thanks.

hey dude i ben thinking in buying a dell vostro 3750 with nvidia geforce 540 1gb for gaming what do you think about it or its better the Dell XPS? tell me what you think...

@luischo7591 Well honestly, I would not buy a laptop for gaming, they are not really great values for that use. For a laptop, you can never update video card, cpu or motherboard. RAM and Hard drive are it. Now a desktop, you can do all of the above, and you can get way more power for the money. I would probably get a Vostro, probably not going to be as fast as XPS, but I think it will have more longevity. The XPS laptops tend to burn out sooner because of all the heat from GPU. Go desktop!
