Color aside, that car is going to handle like crap. I recognize those rear leaf springs as incorrect replacement units. They will not squat down with time unless you get a half yard of gravel in the boot. When you get that B in a turn with the higher C.G. and especially when coupled with that power unit, you have a recipe for unloading and switching ends. The only way to make it handle worse is to install those way too soft polyurethane bushings that V.B. sells.

it's touching to see how Americans cherish British sportscars. 80% of MGs production went to the US, and not many of them V8s so not so sure the V8 was too small for the US market as suggested below. Hope the US buys 80% of Lotus production in the future!
