Custom dance performed by custom people at the opening of the Yoahnanan health aid post. The dancers are led out by chiefs Kawia and Tuk (of Prince Philip cult).

It's great to see the closeness of the old and young, in the Harvest dance ,show's amazing tie's to family and beliefs.I wish the rest of the modern world could show this compassion when it is done for the good of something ,they are so happy living so meager , it's amazing what mankind has lost ..

I participated in this harvest dance on Tanna in 2004. It was mesmerizing, the ground shaking with every group footfall, the rhythms, the ancient reverberations. Amazing.
