I have to take issue with Alex's assessment of "Captain America". Steve Rogers isn't supposed to be a genetically engineered aryan. He's the wholesome "all-American" underdog who stubbornly resists bullies and is blessed with the power to fight them.

Regardless of the film's true agenda, it didn't make me want to join the military and further the NWO. On the contrary, it inspired me to continue to resist the bully NWO, which, from my perspective, is symbolized by Hydra.
