Charismatic wintersports pioneers from 1718 shooting at targets while pacing down spectacular landscapes with great style and skill in the Aunegrenda valley of Holtaalsen municipality in Norway.
John McLaughlin with the London Symphony Orchestra accentuates rhythmic ski acrobatics on soundtrack with a Rolf Lislevand sequence as well. Great investment potential for a full length feature film. Blackpowder rifles with flintlock action at advanced skill levels preceeding Olympic wintersports as documented and dramatized. All in the campaign setting of King Charles the 12th as he sendt Finnish General Armefelt out from Duved in Jämtland with 10 000 men in an attempt to conquer Trondheim in Tröndelag.

@MrOlekul They were caught in the middle of a snow storm and didnt have the right cloths to survive it. There are places in Northern Sweden that is way colder than any area in Norway.

It really is a shame about the locks. I guess they did not wipe between shots or have patented breeches in their reproductions. Manufactured patent breeches are the killers to a good natured flintlock rifle. But even then, this lock time is catastrophic. Although the movie is very cool. It shows the early beginning of a nowadays popular sport. Unfortunately, technolgy took away a lot of the personal skills.
