The reality is that if they forced an election right now they'd be very unlikely to win. Therefore there's no point in doing it - in fact Canadians would be quite annoyed with the Liberal party if they caused an election and it resulted in the same parliamentary composition. They'll wait until an opportunity comes up.

Michael if you want a channel from the "grass roots" as you say then why is it we are all sitting around asking "What the heck is the Liberal Party doing?" We can't continue to refuse to be Opposition and let programmes that we are opposite to what we believe in pass by default.
