I volunteered in the Pediatric Recovery Unit at Tutova Hospital in Romania from August 15 - September 5, 2009.
For more information, visit www.globalvolunteers.org

Music is "One Family," written by Mark Mancina, and "You'll Be in My Heart", written by Phil Collins, both from Tarzan. I don't own the music.

*I'd like to clarify that only the *colour* photos were taken by me. The black-and-white photos were taken by other photographers in 1990.

  • What a fantastic video! It literally makes me cry every time I watch it...and I've watched it quite a few times :) I was at the clinic from June 13-July 4 and it was the most wonderful, life-changing experience of my life. I loved, loved, loved the video of Little Andreea in the bouncer! When I was there I was trying to help her learn to crawl! I loved seeing the progress of all of them...especially Andrei, Alexandra, and Celine....and my precious little Andreea of course! Loved the videos!

  • Thank you to everyone for your kind comments! My trip to Romania was definitely an experience of a lifetime, and I will never forget all the children I met there! I hope to someday return to Tutova and volunteer again :)
