@zehlins It's not meant to be MIDI when you've got serious musicians in the electronica genre out there who would actually contemplate using it. It has the potential to do pretty good jazz to me

They're $700, the built in tones are crap, they only connect via USB (where the hell is my 1/4" jack???), and they're completely unimpressive.
I'd be interested in seeing/hearing a Tau or an Alpha, but this thing is garbage more akin to a child's 12" 24 key Casio keyboard than a $700 musical instrument.
It NEEDS to be self contained. If I'm going to gig with something, I NEED a 1/4" jack to take it directly to a PA, NOT something that passes through my PC...

HOW MUCH ARE THESE THINGS?!

is that... simon cowell?

@ThePauseMenu Skill means nothing if you don't have the creative capabilities to become innovative. How many 'guitar gods' do you see showing off on youtube? And how many of them do you see breaking waves in the real world?

@zehlins untie your mind. Technology has a place in music. Although it tampers with skill it can still be pure music

This is soooooooo lame, why do people wastes time creating MIDI stuff when they can sit down and learn to play something that is a REAL instrument, not an electronic shit? If it is the future, I'm glad I'll be dead before.

Polyphonic. Absolutely beautiful. When are you going to take one apart so we can see? Don't mean to sound psycho though, but beauty does come in parts.
