Boys 3000 Championship Finish - Event 376 - Penn Relays 2011

Connor Rog '12, finished 7th in the 3000 Meter Run at the Penn Relays, breaking the Prep school record, set by Colin Rochford '99 in 1998, by 7 seconds. The Penn Relays is the largest and most famous track event in the country, drawing thousands of athletes at the high school, college and professional level.

Entry into the high school 3000M run is by invitation and draws top talent from around the country. Rog was seeded 18 out of 25 runners but was able to stay with the lead pack and deliver an outstanding performance.
