for the sound of the falcon, they got a soundtrack of a dc 9 and made one of the effects/sounds out of sync from the other.

The scene with the Tie fighters in the Asteroid field in Empire strikes back is the most exciting thing I have ever seen on film.

Yeah, look I like the Millenium Falcon but personally I wouldn't like to drive one. I'd be really worried about scratching the left side when reverse parking.

In Return of the Jedi, there was a director's cut that aired for a special auidence that, in the end, the Falcon didn't make it out of the Deathstar. The auidence was so disappointed at the death of the Falcon (not Lando) Lucas changed the ending back to what it is now. Just a little fun fact. The love we all have for her kept her alive.
