If one read the parable of the man sowing seeds as a man sowing seeds and nothing more one would miss the point. That would be a fundamentallist's approach to it and that is why he is saying on must stear clear of such an angle. That's all.

Wow.
He certainly interpolated a bunch of crap into the bible. This is the part I don't miss about being Catholic, or religious.
An old man sitting around with a story book, telling everyone how specifically to read it.
"These parts are fictions, these are not.
You must look at the context for this, but you have to take that part literally."
How does he make those grand differentiations?
He was also seemed very non-committal about biblical Scholars.
