I sounded tired because I was. I slept 4 to 5 hours until UPS dropped off all my stuff I was waiting for, then I went straight downstairs, checked it out and put it together. I am happy.

  • how did you set up triple channel ram with amd? btw i got same rig!

  • I didn't, the two are dual-channel. The one is in there by itself. I had the impression I could do triple channel but couldn't. In the end, I've still got 6gb so whatever. I've been very pleased with this build so far. Seems like there is next to nothing I can't do with it.

  • is the extra fan for the side panel worth "it"

  • It was only about 5 bucks and for its size, it seems to move a good deal of air. The vent its attached to is cool to the touch.

  • Hey I'm building my first pc too! I ordered the same CPU and Mobo. Hurray for AMD

  • I've been quite satisfied with my build. It's everything but a hotrod. I'm sure you'll enjoy the CPU, it's quite fast and makes multi-tasking a breeze compared to my previous single core. I'm sure you'll have fun building your computer, it's a satisfying feeling when it's finally put together, knowing you picked out the components yourself for performance. And when it works! Good luck & have fun.

  • I have the same case motherboard cpu and os on mine :D Just built today!

I would have used G.Skill but couldn't afford it at the time I have corsair 1333 ram

  • still you got a pretty cool system :P

  • A sapphire radeon HD 4850 1GB. I created a video demonstrating a test run through the Crysis demo using it with the rest of this build. Can check it out if ya want. I've never had a graphics card before, but I am impressed for the price. ($120) does about everything, and is crossfire capable, came with a bridge.

  • What video card did you get?
