A canine crackdown at a ritzy West Side building has outraged dog lovers, who may be forced to ride with their four-legged friends in service elevators.

One Lincoln Plaza on West 64th Street has reportedly declared war on the furry friends, suggesting a series of rules that would ban Rottweilers, pit bulls and Doberman pinschers and limit the number of dogs per unit to one apiece.

Dogs of that breed who already live in the building would be grandfathered in under the rules, but would have to wear an ID tag at all times, the News reported.

Dog walkers would also feel the heat from the ban, which would block them from bringing dogs into the building unless they belong to tenants, the News reported.
