For all of those who asked politely (and not so politely...) here is another version of my other video, but without the music. Hope you enjoy it more than you did the other one.

  • Nice video. You could have had the music in the background way through, though.

  • I do have a version with the music all the way through it, but lots of people wanted to hear it without the music, so I uploaded both.

  • whats name of this song ?

thank you for this video :)

  • The opening is still set to "Gives You Hell" by The All-American Rejects. Glad you enjoyed this version.

  • Thanks for uploading this version of the video. I'd just like to say that my criticism on the original video was meant in jest, in the spirit of Malcolm Tucker. Although "they" do say many a true word spoken in jest.

  • -TheThick of It & -In the Loop- , EPICs from ( SotuhBucks based) Armando Iannucci _et al_. With NickCLEGG's coalition, Cameron's GAFFEs, etc (never mind he might have a point Re: Moral_ly, Financial_ly, Religion, Social_ly and Cultural_ly bankRUPT - England/exEmpire = responsible for 2/3 of Word's EVIL, GREED, Degeneration,Debauchery, etc, etc) ,

I hope there'll be a NewGem by Armando

  • @ryanhurst1 Yes he did.

  • turn the shit music off for fuck sake

  • Sorry cliff

    that's minister

    get used to cliff

What an awesome show. Great video!

  • I also just realised 1985, I got mixed up between two separate scenes. But I guess that's easy to do as the emblematic recurring image of the series is Tucker dashing about madly.

It even rears its head in that brilliant moment in In the Loop where he's trying to reach the War Committee and ends up exploding in front of those American pedestrians who pull him up for swearing.

  • LOL.

You know as I catch up with The Daily Politics, and Question Time and This Week, and sort of immerse myself in the spin and counter-spin frenzy of the Westminster Bubble on the run up to this election, it makes me ache for a Thick of It Special.

Be it the Chilcott Inquiry or the Piers Morgan interview or some slot on Andrew Marr, all I can think about is what Malcolm Tucker is screaming down the telly, as he watches his MPs screw up every PR opportunity he's coached them through.

  • @PurushaDesa

That is a fucking wonderful...you get the real sense that he's a spin crazed nutbag - having a conversation on his blackberry whilst he sprints down Whitehall.

"Will it make the one?!?! No I know what time it is - I can SEE what time it is!"

  • Malcolm Tucker's "They've just gone to The Mail!" dash across Westminster is hilarious. I don't know why but him yelling down his phone, "I know the time! I can see the time!" as Big Ben looms over him, is one of the funniest images of the series.
