You are right, and hey...they do discriminate people with curly hair. I have natural, tightly curled, kinky hair, rather than loosely curled 3c, 2c hair. Whites don't care about kinky hair but most Blacks do and when my hair was really short and natural, I experienced discrimination more frequently with my own people. Sad.
