Health literacy is a growing problem in America. But reading is not the only concern. General communication between patient and provider needs to be addressed.
Got the point - and it is a good one. The irony is that the mechanic, the postal worker, and the insurance agent will not stop trying to communicate when the doc asks for an explanation of the bill again. Or an explanation of what went wrong when the car still doesn't run right, the package doesn't get there in time, or the insurance doesn't cover all that was expected.
