DAY EIGHT IN LA

Back at the house --

Bekah sat outside a while longer after everyone left for the beach. Eventually she decided to go downstairs to her room.

She noticed that the door to her room was open, and she had shut it before she left. She walked into her room, confused, until she saw something on her bed.

There was a little box on her bed, and beside it was a note.

Bekah quickly walked over to her bed and picked up the note.

The note read
"Bekah,
Sorry that this is kind of late. I got this for you when we went to the mall a while back. I've been waiting for a good time to give it to you, but there hasn't really been one. I know we're not talking all week, so I just want you to have this now, and know that I still care. I hope you like it : )
I love you Bekah"

Bekah smiled as she put on the bracelet. She thought about Nick and about how much he really did mean to her. Then she remembered about the small gift that she had bought him that day at the mall. She did like Nick did and wrote a note and left the gift on his bed.


5 hours later --
Bekah had already left the house to go hang out with Samantha. The others were just arriving at the house.

Everybody went into the kitchen and just hung out and ate some snacks. Nick went to his room.

As soon as he got into his room he noticed a bag on his bed. He smiled because he knew it was from Bekah.

He opened the bag and in it was a shirt that Nick had been wanting for a while.




He smiled and picked up a sticky note. It read
"Right back at ya ; ) "

He laughed as he put the shirt away.

Downstairs Hannah, Joe, Kevin and Miranda were all hanging out. Nick eventually joined them. They all spent the rest of the day doing various things at the house.

Later that evening, around midnight, Bekah was just getting back. Nick, Kevin, and Joe were all upstairs sleeping. Hannah was just in her room journaling.

Hannah heard Bekah walking down the stairs so she quickly got up to go and say hey. Before Hannah made it our of her door she heard Bekah's slam. Hannah, confused, walked over to Bekah's door. She could hear her crying from outside the door.

Hannah knocked on the door a few times then opened the door. Bekah turned around and saw that it was Hannah and immediately turned back around.

Bekah yelled "Get out!"
Hannah : I'm sorry. Is everything ok?
Bekah : Yes, now get out. Get out now!

Hannah quickly left the room and went back to her own. She went back to journaling and left Bekah alone for the night.

The next morning Hannah woke up around eleven. She went to check on Bekah, but she had already left for the day. She went upstairs to see everyone and to see if they new anything.

Kevin, Nick and Joe were all at the table eating some cereal. They smiled as they saw Hannah and she walked over.

Hannah : Hey guys
Kevin [with his mouth full of cereal] Whats up?
Hannah : [laughs] Nothing. Hey do you guys know what's up with Bekah?
Nick : What? What is wrong?
Hannah : I don't know. Last night she came in crying
Nick [concerned] : Did you talk to her
Hannah : I tried
Joe : Maybe it's that special time

Everyone looks at Joe

Joe : Or not.... [takes a huge bite of his cereal and looks down]
Nick : Yeah, I don't know anything
Hannah : Hmmm, I'm sure we'll figure it out soon enough.
Kevin : [talking to Hannah] After breakfast I need to ask you something.
Joe : Am I invited too?
Kevin : No, I just need the advice of a girl [laughs] It's nothing bad, I just need ideas
Hannah : [smiles] I'm happy to help
Kevin [smiles] : Good

After lunch Hannah and Kevin go upstairs. Nick and Joe both remain in the kitchen.

In Kevin's room - -

Hannah : Okay, what's up? Are you trying to surprise Miranda with something or do--
Kevin : This isn't about Miranda
Hannah [confused] : Oh?
Kevin : I just didn't want Joe or Nick to hear, especially Nick.
Hannah : Kev, what's going on?
Kevin : Well it's not official, but basically Bekah's parents are going through a divorce.
Hannah [concerned] : What?!
Kevin : Yeah, and I guess Bekah just isn't taking it too well
Hannah : I bet, well- wait. How did you find out? Nick and I don't even know
Kevin : Miranda overheard Summer and Bekah the other night
Hannah : I don't understand why Bekah wouldn't just tell us
Kevin : Me either. Just promise me that you won't say anything to her OR Nick
Hannah : I, well I guess I won't, but Nick. He deserves to know
Kevin : No, it's just not a good idea. She'll tell him when she is ready to talk about it
Hannah : Well she's obviously ready to talk about it with Samantha. I don't get why she can't tell me, her own best friend. Well, friend.
Kevin : Everything is going to be fine, ok?
Hannah : [rolls her eyes] Yeah, we'll see.
Kevin : Lets just let Bekah avoid talking about it as long as she wants ok?
Hannah : Fine fine

I'm SO very sorry i haven't posted in a while.
52, maybe 53 will be up tonight :)
