I am Mexican and played football in Mexico. I have seen this movie several times and made me cry all at the end. I have learned new things each time but the most important one "dreams make the life tolerable". Big truth. Rudy: thank you for fighting and lead others to do the same.

shut up ho

PURE FICTION!!!

Greg - you should listen to what Joe Montana has to say about the movie. I'm not going to say it's nonsense but Joe was there and he seems to have a different tale to tell. Maybe he's a tool too?

The dream is most the powerful thing ever to achieve anything you want in life. Period.

FICTION!!!

cwood wow the jersey scene was a lie but most of the film did happen including him getting carried off the field so I guess he wasn't just another player for those guys you tool

@cwood4ever #1 I never said that everything from the movie was true. Owned. #2 No movie ever makes it 100% true, they have to make scenes to keep peope tuned in. Owned. #3 I could care less for this guy, he has been indicted on scamming people recently and don't care for you to explain this whole detailed explanation when I didn't say that the whole movie was true, but it's defienetly not fiction which is what I told him. Owned and learn how to read. Now slap yourself 4 times.

@cdubmeyer It didn't happen as showed in the movie dip shit. The players who actually played with him one of them was Joe Montana exposed the movie as bull shit. The scene when the players turned their uniforms in so Rudy could play was a lie.Never happened, they let Rudy play because its Notre Damn traditions is to let one player play the last game of the season.Rudy isnt different than the other player/ The only reason why he know of his is because he sold the story to a director. slap yourself
I have been a Notre Dame fan all my life. And I love this movie. My Dad and Grandpa would also clean the field after. My Grandma has recently died. She had pictures of my Dad from his childhood. He came across some from a Notre Dame game. It was a polaroid, there was a date on the back. 11-8-1975. My Dad and Grandpa had been at the actual Rudy game! Ever since I found this out, I've always wanted to meet Rudy. So please thumb this comment so he can see this and maybe I will be able to meet him..
