Available from smartandsexyfilms.com, Atlanta-based film collective, "Rose Parade" is a documentary for and about the fans of Elliott Smith, the singer/songwriter who committed suicide in October 2003. It interviews Atlanta/Nashville-area fans and will represent this southeastern US region in the upcoming international fan documentary, which will take the name "Future Butterflies." It also includes an original music video tribute for the song "Rose Parade," directed by Karla Davis.

This is inspiring! I got to see elliott smith in boston @ the avalon with grandaddy. I know he had alot of messed up live shows , but this show was incredible. I never expected to see the some of the songs done with electric and he just exploded when they began. His voice was incredible ! I will never forget the quiet that came over the audience when he grabbed the acoustic. And Grandaddy also had cd quality live sound. The best show i've ever seen. I truly miss him...
