Thanks for the video. It was really helpful. I found one thing though, you would need a SD and not a SDHC for upgrading. I tried SDHC and it did not work first, so use SD only.

this will NOT work if you are non windows ppc 2003.
You have 2 upgrade to WM5+ to use this method.
I just wondered - I am already on WM6 ( have an x50v)
HOW DO I GET THE LATEST BT AND WI FI DRIVER UPGRADES ? ANY IDEA ?

I have a Dell Axim V51x and lost my password, is there a way to hard reset it without calling tech support? I've taken the battery out hoping that the backup would run down and reset everything but after 3 days I put the main battery back in and it's still password locked. I've never lost my password before and I'm embarrased to say that I neglected to write it down.

Yo. Thx for the lil "how to" video...All worked out on first run, works gr8... Got a X51v for workin on a friends laptop for free as payment..it was all stock..thought it was broke..but it was the battery latch, just used some tape fixed it..runs gr8...and was still runnin the WM 5 but thx to ya..im hooked up...was a have to so it would read my SDHC cards....thx again..

I've got an X50v with 2003se. I'm trying to do the steps by installing Mobile 5.0 first but still getting the "no image read" error. Could it be that I am using a MicroSD card with an adapter?

i only have 1 problem... my computer wants a x50v windows driver and i cant find one....other than that the roms worked just fine!! YOU MUST UPGRADE WM 2003 TO A05!!! BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING!! I HAD AO1...NOW I HAVE 6.1 AO2!! THANKS!!

thats becouse you have to upgrade your wm2003 to a05 first then you can goto wm5 ao1...
