The Tai Daeng (Red Tai) are some of the best weavers in Laos and produce some of the most beautiful textiles. In this video you will see a Lao weaver, weaving a complex Tai Daeng textile that my wife and I ordered a set of for our business, Laos Essential Artistry. Weavers in Laos are accomplished artists, extremely skillful and talented and we are looking forward to featuring their beautiful textiles in our online Yahoo store beginning in 2008

  • This was in the small village of Nong Bouathong within the city of Vientiane. There are weavers like this girl in many galleries. If you go to Vientiane you won't have a problem finding weavers like this!
