I notice a contradiction here. On one video he said that not beating around the bush shows confidence. And in this video, he's suggesting something that is like beating around the bush?. Tell women like it is. I want to take you on a date. Simple as that. Say it in a confident manner and it should be ok.

I can see what he is saying but you run the risk of not letting her know that you are interested. Sure she might pick up on that or whatever but when its ambigous like that it can cause confusion and hurt later. And you might fall into the "friend zone."

But what if she thinks you were just going to hang out as friends? then its better to avoid that by asking them out on a date, no chick who wants you as a friend would ever go on a date with you so if you ask them out and they say yes then they probably isn't interested in you as a friend but as something more awesome. ;)
