Rep. Greg Walden questions EPA Assistant Administrator for Air and Radiation Gina McCarthy on the effect of the agency's regulations on cement plant jobs in eastern Oregon.
Don't let up on them, Greg.....they increasingly become more ridiculous! I am proud to see that you are working hard as Representative of our district.
Rep. Walden has attempted to show that requirements demanded by the EPA surpass the technology available to achieve their demands. Some how it should give the inept EPA pause for some reasonable re-evaluations. One thing the honorable Greg Walden did not expound on was the location of the Durkee plant, as it is totally isolated from population districts. I believe if it was located on the moon, it would not matter to the abusive EPA. You would think common sense might prevail.
