I think someone else might be able to find it for you, you can have a false interpretation of yourself and your life, be low in confidence etc, so they might be able to see past that. On the flip side, they might have a false interpretation of you.

I am 38 and I just discovered my purpose, professionally speaking last year. After 16 years of working with patents, trademarks and copyright (i.e. Intellectual Property), I am going to school to become a Nurse. However, my number one purpose in life is allow His light to shine through me. In short, I just love giving love.

I think Nursing is one of the most precious purposes there is. I've often wished that was my purpose, but it's definitely not. I'm glad you've discovered yours. Whatever my purpose is, I know it will be helping, giving and letting my light shine which finds its source from Christ Jesus. thank you for watching and commenting.

OMG, I'm 51, and I've been thinking deeply about this very subject for all of my life! You really hit a deep note with me on this video! I've had many different "lives" you might say. With Security Guard, Sales, Electronics Tech, etc. and yet, none of them have felt like the real thing I want to do with my life. I know I want it to be something I really love to do. And just like you, I want it to feel like I am helping or giving to other people in some way. -Still searching- Bri. : )

thank you for sharing that Brian because I was fearful that I was much too old not to know my purpose by now. I am a 911 Operator Supervisor (for 16 more days) and I absolutely love it, BUT, I know it is not my purpose. However, I'm still trying to figure out what is. With the awesome comments and support that I've been receiving, I'm kinda figuring it out. still searching... lol be blessed

I think what you don't realize is that most of us do tune in to be blessed for that 10 minutes that you talk. I have watched for almost a year now, just sat on the sidelines and came here because you have a way of making people feel at ease and closer to God. You offer advice and prayer without judgement and ridicule.. that to me is a blessing. You don't shove your beliefs on anyone or make it weird.. You don't realize what you've honestly done in my life even without knowing I was watching.

thank you. I really got to work on that fasting thing :) but I'll get there. I love motivational speaking, I've just got to get over my fear and find a vehicle to do so. I'll defintely keep everyone informed and hopefully help someone else discover their purpose as well.  be blessed

Often I wondered how I could have 200 views and 3 comments, lol, but now I know that many people often watched but never said a word. Now that I understand that, I don't worry about it anymore. You've helped me to understand the power of Christ working through me. I just want to continue to use it correctly and that He get the glory while others are being helped, inspired or encouraged.
