  • it was a late august night last summer , me annd 3 of my closest freinds were driving down a country road listening to this song, as i scan my eyes across the dark horizon a light tower blinked a red light in contrast to the evening sky, the air was cool and at that moment i felt so great to be alive, not a worry in the world just a night out driving with my freinds, i would give anything to go back and relive that moment, every time i listen to this song i relive it in my mind.

  • Best. Guitar. Solo. EVER.

  • C´mon, this man is a genious, one of the titans of America´s rock n´roll with Elvis, Johnny Cash and Creedence! How I wished to watch a Neil´s gig!!!

  • pritty thake you. it brings back when i was in my 20s, now ill be 60 in november i love the memerys.

  • Hypothesize this: I think I have Neil partly figured out after all these years of listening to him. a) It's about the sound--the music (melody and lyrics) are just carriers of the sound. b) The music, but not the overall sound, is a mood setter and it's not important to him to keep timing right if it screws the mood. (I do recognize the 5/4,2/4 in parts of this song-I'm not fooled by that.) Finally, I'm trying to figure out Neil Young. I've gone crazy for sure this time.
