Eating Consciously - TimmyFan Interview

From Eating Consciously Podcast #26 (Subscribe here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/eating-consciously-podcast/id272091584), I interview TimmyFan (http://youtube.com/timmygal). While we don't always agree, I think it's important to consider the message we are sending to others, especially if we want to persuade people to consider a compassionate, vegan lifestyle. Sometimes it's easy to resort to personal attack and we aren't always perfect, but it's important to consider how our words make other people feel. We can disagree with others, but we should also try to avoid personal insult and give people a level of basic respect. I'm not saying to avoid vehement disagreement, but I'm saying to consider whether you're going to help convince the person of moving towards veganism, or send them flying in the other direction. What are your thoughts?

I felt so bad for her by the time I saw how upset she was on her vegan video, I recommended Earthlings. Compassion is much better than writing someone off then pushing them into a dark corner. It helps nothing.

@eatingconsciously exactly the type of people that were replying to her. The vegans that will point fingers, and call names, instead of offering information, and letting it go.... the scary, preachy vegans that no one likes. lol
