Peter is a fine singer and performer, but his voice just lacks Allan's distinctiveness that made the Hollies voices soar to the sky.
Still I'd go see this band if they ever toured the USA, just to hopefully meet Tony and Bobby.

What an insult to a fantastic singer. I have been following The Hollies since the 1960's and never thought anyone could replace Allan. Peter is a wonderful singer and I for one of many hope The Hollies continue playing to sell out audiences for many years to come. Having met all of The Hollies at various concerts I must say what a lovely bunch of guys they are. Roll on October and Harrogate International Centre.

@reolin777 A frankly bland Cliff Richard backing singer has taken a great band down the middle of the road and made them entirely forgettable I`m afraid. I saw Allan many times and Carl once but Howarth is chicken in the basket entertainment. Yawn. I dont know if he would have been up for it but it`s a shame they didnt look up Mikael Rickford when Carl died. He had a great voice and was part of the bands heritage. Still they had 3 great singers and 1 crap one to finish the band off I guess.

edko426 are you real you talking about peter he's bad bud ill have seen them in Emmen and in Horst and they are still for me Then,Now,Always,they where great complete and if you have seen a concert life of them you new that they are still great.
Allan Clarke was the sound yes but that was michael rickfors to and when you are a singer of the Holies(It's not just like that)
He have singing in the background of cliff richard.
but edko you can sing in the hollies,maybe we can laughing you lol.
