8/23/08 The place was a Boy Scout camp from the 20's to the 60's and it has been hit super hard By MD'ers for a good 30 years. But I still find goodies metal detecting...

  • can you advise me with something...im looking into starting metal detecting...what is a good and cheap metal detector for a starter...i collect coins and id be looking for help.

  • Yea the Ace 250 is a great machine!!! I have found tons of great stuff with mine, including 2 gold rings and 1 gold earring.

  • I cleaned up the BSA button and it is also a 1911. I'm very happy!!!

  • Hey I am a noob too but from what I heard a garrett ace 250 is a really good beginners metal detector. I have one myself and I live in Southern California(central coast) and I always go to the beach. Its soo good I have found lotsa change and jewelry at the beach ;)
