Have a heat pump. Getting dirty black, oily dust coming up through the inside heating ducts. We change the filters every 2 months but it is slowly getting worse? Will cleaning the coils be the solution we need to get clean air again?

It's good to watch videos like this because one day your system will go out and a service technician will have to come fix it. If you already know how your system works and the parts contained in it...it's less likely the technician will try to scam you...specially when he knows your knowledgeable about it.

Shouldn't he be cleaning from the inside out? I just had mine done professionally that way and was amazed at how much stuff came out with just plain water. I had done it myself using just water a month ago and it was so ineffective that my compressor was shutting off too early due to spiking temperature.
