*Nobodys POV*
What are you doing here? she asked him bitterly. He hesitated for a minute before she stood, letting her hair out of the messy bun so that it would fall in her face. She turned her back on him when he had no reply and began to walk down the beach. Beth! Wait! he called out to her. She turned to him. What Joseph! she shouted. The tears were already forming in her eyes, but none had fallen yet. She didnt want him to see her weak. Not again. He began to walk towards her slowly. Just please let me explain. He said, reaching out to her, but she kept backing away. Explain what? How youre tongue was shoved down her throat or how you broke your promise to me, again? she asked, a stray tear falling. He sighed, running a hand through his hair. Thats what I thought! she shouted before turning again. The rain then began to fall. But Joe wasnt going to give up, he wasnt going to lose her. Not this time.
She kissed me! Beth, I SWEAR to you; she kissed me and I didnt expect it. He said as he tried keeping up with her. She stopped and turned. Well I didnt see you pushing her away either Joseph. She replied before turning again. Beth please, wait. He said. The thunder crashed and lightning struck in the distance. Why should I Joe? Why do you wanna be with me anyway? she asked. She loved him and missed everything they had. But she wasnt willing to get hurt again. Because I love you Beth. You are the only one and you always have been. You are the only girl to make me smile the way you do; the only girl to make me feel this way. He replied. She looked at him, the tears falling faster and harder, blending in with the rain. He, too was crying. But she couldnt tell because of the rain.
Keep going. She replied, a quiver in her voice. He hesitated, but went on. Beth, you always have been the only girl for me and there will never be another in my life other than you. Demi walked into my dressing room. She kissed me the minute you opened the door and I had no time to react. I shouldve followed you onto the bus. But I was scared. I was scared of losing you again, and I almost did. Elizabeth, I love you more than anything in this world, including my music; including the fans. I love you more than my own life. Id fight for you, Id lie for you. Id walk through fire for you. Hell, Id die for you Elizabeth. I love you so much and nothing & no one is ever going to change that. He said, out of breath. She just looked at him again, coming a few steps closer. He did the same.
You didnt answer my question. She said softly, although a crash of thunder had erupted again. He heard her though. What question would that be? he replied, in a tone just as soft. She looked him in the eye and they were still a good foot apart. Why do you wanna be with me anyway? she asked softly as lightning lit the sky. He slightly smiled as he walked towards her slowly. He reached her and lifted her chin up so she was looking him in the eye. Then he said softly So I can kiss you anytime I want. With a smirk playing on his face. She gave a small smile, knowing he stole that line from one of her favorite movies. He wiped her tears with his thumbs as he slowly leaned in and placed a soft, sweet, passionate kiss on her lips.
As the kiss intensified in the rain, she wrapped her arms around his neck as his went around her waist, one hand caressing her cheek. She let her hands tangle themselves in his hair as his tongue begged for entrance against her lips. She decided to tease him by biting his bottom lip, but immediately gave in and his tongue entered her mouth, exploring it. Soon, they pulled away; their foreheads touching, their breathing heavy. I love you and only you Elizabeth. He whispered to her. She smiled and pecked his lips. I love you too Joseph. She replied. He smiled and picked her up by her waist and spun her around in the rain. She laughed and opened her arms as he did so. When he brought her back down, he kissed her again before they walked home; hand-in-hand, reunited.
The love these two share can no longer be broken. They realized that now. They were meant to be and no one could stop it.
