I don't know why but these two lines always crack me up..maybe its the animation with it---Gosh, a real dippy ding ding! That's Dinopoodi ya knucklehead! I don't know why, but I laugh my ass off when I hear it.
@TrueTalkTV -- He smashed a pie in Larry's face in "The Plumber's Friend", but that's about the worst of it, I do believe. Between parental concerns about violence and the fact that Moe and Larry were both over sixty, the trio's famous slapstick was severely toned down for this show.
@TrueTalkTV -- These were made for younger audiences, so there was fairly little violence. When the classic shorts began to be distributed on TV, Moe Howard went on a talk show and demonstrated the mechanics of the famous eye-poke, so Junior wouldn't go around jabbing folks' eyes out.
Fairly amusing, but it ends a bit too abruptly to suit. It feels like more could be done...maybe an ill-fated attempt to get back the ticket, or a twist reveal that the Dinopoodi is a girl--and pregnant.
