iPhone Disable Edge BossPrefs

A short walk through on how to disable the Edge service if you don't want those huge phone bills. Good for GoPhones! Please Comment and Rate! Thanks!

The edge symbol wont disappear but it will be disabled even if the icon shows up. Add this to the sources page on the installer:

@coryfin23 you have to add the source to installer. i'm not quite sure what the source link was but if you google around you may find it. it's quite old

@shadowtempest91 this is quite an old video. back in the day when installer was popular and i was running 1.1.4 firmware on the first iphone

no O2 doesnt charge you for using 3G internet... at the moment!

Anyways dont you get charged for picking up a call in america? (did when i went on holiday and the people who we stayed with used american mobiles!) cause we only get charged for making a call! =D good to use britsh mobiles, despite the signal is SHIT!

@tvcrazy08 That's just wrong. 3G has been in the USA mobile networks with full support since Dec 2007. You were probably charged roaming calls (and roaming data calls) which are even more expensive. You can turn these off in Your general settings without Downloading Installer and BossPrefs.
