@greenbutterfly101 I disagree. Men and women are marrying much at much older ages than they used to, waiting until their mid to late 20's on average as opposed to late teens and early 20's. Also, the perception of what constitutes a family is changing. Many people no longer believe that marriage is necessary for a stable household and choose not to marry.

That's the world we currently live in, pal. Get used to it. You can't have two Captains of a ship. Someone has to be first mate. It only leads to confusion and division - but nobody seems to comprehend this. High break-up and divorce rates are to be expected.

i don't agree with the idea that woman should give up feminine qualities in order to be "equal" to men since that whole idea is pretty sexist to begin with since it is assuming that masculine qualities and qualities that are "natural" to men are inherently superior. both men and women should be free to act however they feel most comfortable. i believe women can do ALL the same things men do while still being... well, women. and i think men can do things traditionally associated for women too.

@shallownot yeah i have to admit this is a bit vague. Men DO want all the benefits that a woman's femininity offers, but don't want to deal with the costs and inconveniences of our femininity.
