Pastors have been engaging in crowd and population control by use of Bible passage Romans 13, claiming God wants everyone to obey governments even while they split up whole families in the wake of a national emergency or martial law declaration.

Some say this is clearly misuse of clergy for propaganda.

look up obama's vote on the vitter amendment. it states that the government cannot confiscate private weapons in time of emergency. david vitter is the republican senator from louisiana who saw what happened during katrina and knew there had to be a law. obama voted for the vitter amendment, he might actually be on the right side.
