This is a picture slideshow from our baptism on March 13, 2009. During this baptism Jayson, Kai, Sonji, Crystal, and Javonte all got baptized. Jayson, Kai, and Javonte are Gidgette Jackson's children. Gidgette was baptized during The Campaign for Hope back on July 19th, 2008.
Sonji is the mother of Aliyah (baptized July19th, 2008), Olivia (Baptized July 20th, 2008), and Valencia (baptized Dec. 6th, 2008). Isaiah 11:6 "...and a little child shall lead them."
When Crystal first started visiting the Center for Hope she knew that she had found her home. She is a faithful member until this very day.
The Center didn't have a church home at that time so we loaded up the donated van that the Center had and took everyone to Pastor Bostons church in Bucksport (Bethel S.D.A). When we got their the water was super cold and you can see that on everyones face. LOL
When the baptisms were over and everyone went to load the van we learned that it wouldn't start. At this point Pastor Boston had to call some of the good ol' saints from the Bucksport church , you'll see how the cars started coming and everyone was loading in. The devil couldn't take away our joy no matter what!
