This is an attempt at showing you guys the heel toe technique that i use for double bass. I also talk a bit about triggers as well as showing the settings i use on my Alesis DM5 module.


btw, i'm very aware that i say "um" and "uh" about 35 times:) I'm not the most experienced person in front of a camera haha

is his method only good for axis or trick pedals or can they be used on any standard pedal?

i've seen them done on other pedals(DW and Iron Cobra), but it doesn't really work for me on those. I guess it just depends on the person and playing style

Are you really that fucking stupid? They have two sides. Nylon plastic and felt. Both have different sounds and bounce and feel. PLEASE die in a fire.

Blah to trigger haters. Get with the times if you want to play extreme music. Who gives a crap, and why? Drummer for 15 years here, hitting my physical limits without extra volume boost from triggers, at least for now.

Triggers are cheating as much as any processor/device is for any other instrument. None at all.
